CoastSmart Restaurants Program

The goal of the CoastSmart Restaurants program is to encourage and aid local restaurants in becoming more environmentally friendly. Practices we’re trying to promote include composting, recycling, reducing plastic use, using less energy and water, and buying locally grown foods.

We want to help your restaurant, not hurt it! When implementing more eco-friendly practices, a common concern is the fear of losing profit, and we understand that profit is important for a business. We intend to help you find sustainable options without sacrificing anything financially. Our main goal is to benefit your restaurant, the environment, and our community as a whole!
